Why are the majority of my former classmates not on LinkedIn?

This is a broad question. Here are several things that influence who uses Linkedin:

• Location (rural isn’t on Linkedin as much)
• Industry (blue collar doesn’t use Linkedin as much)
• Job role (barista’s aren’t into Linkedin – C-Level people are)
