Linkedin Company Pages – How To Invite Connections To Follow Your Page
Linkedin Company Page followers are notoriously hard to get. And as a business grows the benefits of having a large LinkedIn company page following becomes apparent. Sharing that you’re hiring, news releases, and content marketing all go farther with a large following. And not to mention posting is free (unless you want to pay to play).
Company pages are at a disadvantage. When you connect with a person on LinkedIn you automatically follow them. Since you don’t connect with businesses on LinkedIn there are fewer opportunities to get followers. And let’s be honest – people aren’t that excited to follow company pages.
Remember, LinkedIn is a for profit company that wants to monetize businesses via paid advertising. No company page followers, no excitement to post, no incentive to pay for advertising. So, Linkedin is encouraging company page admins to invite their connections to follow their page.
Here’s how company page admins can invite people to follow their company page:
Step 1: Go to your LinkedIn Company Page and click “Admin Tools > Invite Connections”
Step 2: Check the box next to the connection you want to invite or search for them by name
Once you’ve selected 50 connections to invite everyone else is greyed out
You’ll receive this notification if you try to invite more than 50 connections per day
