How to update the hashtags you follow on Linkedin
The hashtags you follow play a vital role in the content that appears in your news feed. You may even be following hashtags you’re not aware of. In this article we’ll show you how to see the hashtags you’re following as well as how to follow/unfollow them. It’s a great way to both discover new content and stop seeing material you’re not interested in.
How to see the hashtags you follow on Linkedin
If you’re on a phone (the mobile app) click your headshot on the top left then scroll down to “Followed Hashtags”
If you’re on a desktop go to the homepage and look on the left hand side of the screen (see screenshot below).

How to follow new hashtags on Linkedin
The fastest way to follow new hashtags is to do a search for the hashtag (include the # symbol) and click “Follow.” See below:
How to unfollow hashtags
If you’re on a desktop go here and click the √ next to “following.” Once the check mark is removed you’ll see a + symbol instead, giving you the option to resume following that hashtag.
If you’re on the mobile app simply check “unfollow.”
