How to remove Interests on Linkedin
Removing interests on Linkedin is easy once you learn where they’re coming from. The “Interests” at the bottom of your profile are created automatically based on four things:
(1) Influencers you follow
(2) Companies you follow
(3) Schools you follow
(4) Groups you’ve been accepted into

Here’s how you remove interests on Linkedin
Step 1: View your Linkedin profile
Step 2: Scroll down until you see “Interests” and click “See All”
Step 3: View your interest by category
You’ll see the four categories of interests as tabs near the top: Influencers, Companies, Groups, and Schools.

Step 4: How to Remove/Delete Interests That You Follow
To remove interests in the categories Of Influencers, Companies, and Schools click the check box to Unfollow. Once you do that you’ll see a + instead of a check. Alternatively, you can navigate to their profile/page and select “unfollow” and they’ll be removed from your Linkedin profile.
Step 5: Removing/Deleting Groups From Your Interests
This one’s more difficult. To remove Groups first view all your groups here and click the group you want to remove from your profile. You don’t have to leave the group to remove it from your profile.
You’ll be taken to your group page. Click the settings menu at the top right (three dots) and select “Update your settings.”
Change “Display group on profile” from ‘Yes’ to ‘No’
Adding Interests (while you’re on a roll)
To add influencers, companies, and schools all you have to do is follow them and they’ll automatically be added to your profile’s interests page. In the same way, every group that you join will also be added.
